Privacy policy
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Controller
GROWXIA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, a company registered in Ireland under number 806705, with its registered office at Prospect Hill, Finglas, Dublin (Ireland). For any privacy matter: info@animario.com.
2. What data we process
- Account: your email and your password (stored in a way that nobody, not even us, can read it).
- Your channels: the name, handle, hashtags, country and location you give us for each one.
- Your AI and voice connections (Anthropic keys, your subscription if you connect it, and your ElevenLabs key), encrypted, with the name you give them.
- Your content: topics, scripts, storyboards, videos, copy and the log of each job.
- Usage: jobs done, times, estimated spend and the usage your AI account reports.
- Payments: the status of your plan and your customer ID at Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
- Credits: the ones you receive (with your plan, a top-up, the welcome credits or a code), what each action uses and when they expire.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, your device’s identifier so we can send you notifications.
- Security: your open sessions (browser, operating system and approximate city and country), sign-ins and password changes, and the public part of your passkeys if you create any. They are used to warn you about new sign-ins and so you can close sessions.
- Technical: server logs (for example, the IP address) for security.
Winners plan applications: if you apply for the Winners plan, we keep what you send us in the form (your name and email, your channels, their views, whether and how you make money from them, their niche and languages, and your message) and where you came from, to assess your application and write to you about it (steps you ask us to take before a contract). You don't need an account. We keep it for up to 12 months from the last time you send it, and delete it sooner if you ask us at info@animario.com.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- To provide the service you sign up for (performance of a contract).
- To manage your plan and meet our tax obligations (contract and legal obligation).
- To protect the service and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
- To send notifications to your device (your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like).
- To improve Animario using aggregated data (legitimate interest).
4. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare: hosts the website, the data and the files, and runs the jobs.
- Anthropic and ElevenLabs: we send what each job needs using your accounts, and they process it under your agreements with them; or, if you use Animario’s AI, using ours, and they process it under our agreements with them.
- Stripe: processes the payments for your plan.
- Email: Cloudflare sends your account emails (confirmation, password change, security alerts) and Brevo sends the ones we write to you from support.
- Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person when you sign up, sign in and send an application.
- Leaked passwords: when you choose a password, we check with Have I Been Pwned whether it appears in public data breaches by sending only the first 5 characters of a hash of the password, never the password itself.
- The browser’s notification services (Google, Apple, Mozilla), for notifications.
Some of them are outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the US). In those cases we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. How long we keep it
- Your account, your channel and your finished videos: for as long as you have the account.
- A reel’s working files (the ones only needed to request changes): deleted 60 days after the reel is finished.
- If you delete your account, or your plan ends and you do not come back: we delete everything after 90 days, letting you know beforehand (if you have credits that have not expired yet, we wait until they do).
- Your credit movements: for as long as you have the account. If you delete it, those of your purchases are kept like the rest of the billing data, and of the rest only the figures remain (how many credits and when), without your email or anything saying which reel they were for, for our own accounts.
- When an account is deleted we keep a non-reversible fingerprint of your email (the address cannot be recovered from it) and which one-time gifts it had (the welcome, the first-plan gift and a promo code), only so that they are not repeated on a new account with the same email.
- Billing data: for as long as tax law requires.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, portability (downloading your data), objection or restriction by writing to info@animario.com. From “Accounts” you can download your data and delete your account. If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or to the authority in your country.
7. Cookies and visits
We only use essential cookies: one to keep your session open, and animario_lang, which remembers for a year the language you choose for Animario (Spanish or English). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
We measure visits to the public website without cookies and without storing anything on your device: with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which gives aggregated figures, and with our own anonymous, aggregated counts (how many visits arrive, from what kind of site, how far they read the page and which button they press), which do not identify anyone. If you create an account, we keep with it where you came from (for example, Instagram, Google or directly) and, if you used a promo code, which one, so we can apply its gift.
8. Security
The connection is encrypted (HTTPS), your keys are stored encrypted, and each job runs on an isolated machine that shuts down when it finishes.
9. Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we will let you know before the change applies.
